Most of the way home
I'm safely back in the U.S. (in case anyone out there was worried by my blog silence). I got home last week, and then left again! I went to my cousin's graduation, visited my parents, and am spending the week at Small Friendly College for a Wilderness First Responder course. Here's hoping I can get some work done too.

Glad to hear you made it back. I wasn't sure if, depending on your route, you'd get held up by the ash somewhere.
Good call with the WFR course. It's something I've always wanted to do... Should be extremely useful.
Thankfully my departure was scheduled for after the ash cloud blew away! Had the timing been different, yes, my plans would have been significantly affected.
